New Chromeo!

I have a serious appreciation for Chromeo’s music. They’re really keeping funk alive, which is rare now a days. Their latest is a little slow, and not the usual up beat stuff. I’m probably still gonna over play it though.
New Blitzen Trapper

If I didn’t read that this song was by Blitzen Trapper, I would have never guessed it. The song sounds way too country, and I can’t say I like the change.
NEW A.A. Bondy

This song just fit the mood I was in. A.A. Bondy was in a post-grunge rock band called Verbena. I like his solo stuff way more.
New! Why?

I accidentally stumbled upon the band Why? last year, and I really liked what I heard from them. The group’s out with a new track titled “The Blackest Purse”. I really like how it starts off with the melodic piano, and it’s consistently good all the way through. Definitely a track worth checking out.
New Corto Maltese singles

I instantly liked the band in the first few seconds of “Fear Is A Man’s Best Friend”. This indie band coming out of Austin, Texas have slowly been getting their name around since 2006. The group’s been compared to The Arcade Fire and LCD Soundsystem.

New Thom Yorke!

Thom Yorke, better known as the lead singer of Radiohead is out with a new cover for the album Ciao My Shining Star: The Songs of Mark Mulcahy. It’s a really nice, calm song with a smooth elecrtonic beat which reminded me somewhat of Sufjan Stevens whom I really admire.
New Friendly Fires Single – Kiss of Life

I just listened to Friendly Fires’ latest single Kiss of Life coming off their self titled album Friendly Fires. Overall, I like Friendly Fires, they’ve made some great songs which I’ve really enjoyed. I can’t say I feel that way about this one though. At first it started off alright, but as it goes on, it gets really jumbled and it just sounds like theres too much going on in the background.
New Colin Munroe

After I heard Colin Munroe’s single with Wale last year “Will I Stay”, he left a really good impression on me. Colin’s out with a new one, it’s a lot more pop, but I liked it just as much.

New Owl City Single

Here’s the newest Owl City single. It’s off his EP Ocean Eyes and it’s pretty good. If you’re a fan you won’t be dissapointed, this is like Owl City at his prime.
Faces On Film

Faces On Film is about as chills as it gets. If you’re ever having one of those days where you just don’t feel like going out, and want to just relax; this is what you listen to.
